Compass Plus partners with AWS to offer processing in the cloud

Compass Plus has announced that it has teamed up with AWS to utilise the latest advancements of cloud-based deployment. The vendor of payments software and payments processing services has been enabling cloud deployments since 2014 for its customers, with many of them already making the move to the virtual arena, and is now utilising the benefits for its own processing centre.

The desire to provide its customers with industry best resilience for business continuity, extreme scalability and agility drove the decision to launch its processing services in the cloud, and after analysing all of the options available, Compass Plus chose Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the cloud host provider to power its processing services. As AWS is a leader in cloud technology, its offering is more advanced than many other cloud providers on the market, and as such has enabled Compass Plus to design its infrastructure in a way that would provide best in class availability and support processing globally. Compass Plus has always prided itself on flexibility when it comes to deployment options, and partnering with AWS takes this to the next level. Whether it’s SaaS, PaaS or a blended option the customer can smoothly switch between them and adopt the option that suits their business need at any given time.

“We are constantly looking at new ways we can help our customers and their business development strategies. Offering our processing services in AWS ensures our customers remain current as both industry regulations and consumer needs evolve,” said Maria Nottingham, EVP at Compass Plus. “The industry leading cloud capabilities of AWS lend themselves perfectly to our mission of becoming not only visionary product providers as described by PayX, but also visionary service providers. While many payments software providers lay a claim to the cloud by calling themselves cloud-compatible or cloud-enabled, we are truly utilising the power of AWS as a processor.”

Compass Plus has extensive global experience in providing a range of processing services, having operated this line of business for over three decades. The Compass Plus processing infrastructure now encompasses two global physical sites and two fully-functional cloud-based environments. This set up ensures maximum operational flexibility and differentiation, while reducing the overall cost and operational overheads that customers would otherwise have to bear.

All Compass Plus Processing Centre services are compliant to card scheme mandates and payment industry standards (PCI).

Tip: Check your spam

Sometimes our e-mails end up in spam. Make sure to check your spam folder for e-mails from The Payments Association

Tip: Check “other” tabs

Most modern e-mail clients now separate e-mails into different tabs. For example, Outlook has an “Other” tab, and Gmail has tabs for different types of e-mails, such as promotional.

Tip: Click the link within 60 minutes

For security reasons the link will expire after 60 minutes. Try submitting the login form again and wait a few seconds for the e-mail to arrive.

Make sure you’re clicking the link on the most recent e-mail that’s been sent to you. We recommend deleting the e-mail once you’ve clicked the link.

Tip: Check your security policies

Some security systems will automatically click on links in e-mails to check for phishing, malware, viruses and other malicious threats. If these have been clicked, it won’t work when you try to click on the link.
