BPC, the global leading payment solution provider, has announced that Diners Club Peru has selected its commerce suite as part of its innovation program.

Diners Club Peru is the third acquiring network in Peru, owned by Banco Pichincha Peru, part of the Pichincha Holding Group headquartered in Ecuador. It is also the issuer of the Diners and Discover brands, granted exclusively to high net worth customers who wish to benefit from unique offers at leading merchants, restaurants, and service-industry brands around the globe. Diners Club network in Peru is composed of more than 110,000 merchants while over 210,000 cards have been issued.

The company has set the objective to double its revenues in 2021 through service excellence, innovation, and partner’s network growth, aligning with their group’s vision. Diners Club Peru entered into an agreement with BPC to become its strategic technology partner. BPC’s SmartVista will be core to Diners Club customers and partners’ experience, as it will power the merchant onboarding and management becoming the point of acquisition and partners’ payment acquiring. Diners Club will be able to set and manage the entire merchant experience from a merchant account, product catalogue, billing, clearing, settlement, dispute management, and the flexibility to configure rules based on their policy agreements. Beyond the merchant management, SmartVista will handle the payment switching and POS acquiring functions, act as a payment gateway for online shopping, as well as prevent fraud.

Pio Rosell, CEO, Diners Club Peru commented, “The payment, travel, and service industries have been both hit and transformed at an accelerated pace. It is vital to re-invent ourselves at times where customer’s behaviours are changing. Investing in our technology and product roadmap will help us remain agile and flexible as we plan to grow our ecosystem faster than ever. “

Santiago Egas, SVP Americas, BPC added, “We are proud to join Diners Club Peru in their next phase of growth. Diners Club has realised that building ecosystems require a new generation of platforms that can handle complex business structure, different level of partners while using the power of data and behavioral analyses to hyper-personalise experiences for all, merchants and end customers alike, which is precisely where SmartVista differentiates. We are confident that, with SmartVista, Diners Club Peru will champion their strategy and gain in time to market at times when we need it the most. “

Tip: Check your spam

Sometimes our e-mails end up in spam. Make sure to check your spam folder for e-mails from The Payments Association

Tip: Check “other” tabs

Most modern e-mail clients now separate e-mails into different tabs. For example, Outlook has an “Other” tab, and Gmail has tabs for different types of e-mails, such as promotional.

Tip: Click the link within 60 minutes

For security reasons the link will expire after 60 minutes. Try submitting the login form again and wait a few seconds for the e-mail to arrive.
