Public sector organisations have been engaged with Crown Commercial Services (CCS) to formulate a new “Payment Acceptance” Framework Agreement

This Framework, called FWA – RM6118, will aim to replace the current “Merchant Acquiring Services, Equipment and Payment Gateway Services” Framework Agreement.

The scope of the new CCS Payment Acceptance FWA will cover the following services:

  • Merchant Card Acquiring
  • Payment Gateway and Alternative Payment Method (APM)
  • Merchant Card Acquiring Equipment
  • Fraud Avoidance
  • Payment Initiation Service Processor (PISP)
  • Aggregator (for smaller Contracting Authorities i.e. PCI Level 3/4 (<€1m card turnover per scheme p.a.)
  • Consultancy

CCS are aiming to launch an OJEU Tender, comprising of 7 lots, this month (May 2019), for the launch of the new framework in October 2019. This will allow public sector organisation to procure services from this.
