UK and Italy Consumer Prepaid Card Fee Simulator

Polymath Consulting, a leading consultancy on prepaid cards and emerging payments, today formally launched their new Consumer Card Fee Simulator for Issuers, Processors, Programme Managers and brands looking to launch prepaid cards in the UK and Italy.

The new simulator builds on the consumer fees data analysis that Polymath has carried out for the Prepaid Report since 2007.  The simulator enables the user to either create a new card, edit an existing card, or just take a product they already have in the market – all consumer cards are already loaded into the system. The user can then use one of the  standard usage scenarios, or create/customise their own and compare this card to some or all of the other cards in the market based on the fees and costs a consumer would pay. With such a detailed level of manipulation available to the user, it comes complete with comprehensive on-screen help and detailed walkthroughs of the key sections

David Parker, CEO of Polymath Consulting commented “With the changes in interchange coming in many prepaid card programs may need to look at adjusting their fees.  This unique database will allow partners to create multiple versions of fees and scenarios to look at fee elasticity against their chosen competitors”

The database covers all consumer loaded generally available prepaid cards in Italy and UK; and the database is updated quarterly to ensure that all the fee information is up to date.   The simulator has detailed help sections at all stages enabling the use to quickly and easily enter all the relevant information.

The Simulator can be found on the Polymath Consulting website at www.polmathconsulting.com and is the latest industry tool to be launched by Polymath following in the heels of the free to access and use Global Outsource Prepaid Processor Database.

David Parker, went on to say “We have been very pleased with both the support and initial feedback we have received from the prepaid industry.  It has clearly demonstrated the need for such a tool in the market”

Tip: Check your spam

Sometimes our e-mails end up in spam. Make sure to check your spam folder for e-mails from The Payments Association

Tip: Check “other” tabs

Most modern e-mail clients now separate e-mails into different tabs. For example, Outlook has an “Other” tab, and Gmail has tabs for different types of e-mails, such as promotional.

Tip: Click the link within 60 minutes

For security reasons the link will expire after 60 minutes. Try submitting the login form again and wait a few seconds for the e-mail to arrive.

Tip: Only click once

The link will only work one time – once it’s been clicked, the link won’t log you in again. Instead, you’ll need to go back to the login screen and generate a new link.

Tip: Delete old login e-mails

Make sure you’re clicking the link on the most recent e-mail that’s been sent to you. We recommend deleting the e-mail once you’ve clicked the link.

Tip: Check your security policies

Some security systems will automatically click on links in e-mails to check for phishing, malware, viruses and other malicious threats. If these have been clicked, it won’t work when you try to click on the link.
